Urgent Care
When something comes up and you need care today, CCHCS is the faster and more affordable alternative to the emergency room. Our urgent care providers are licensed and experienced. They evaluate your symptoms, run any necessary tests, and send prescriptions directly to your pharmacy. No long waits, no unnecessary costs, and no being handed off to someone who has never seen you before.
Urgent care at CCHCS is for conditions that need attention today but do not require an emergency room. Our providers treat colds, flu, ear infections, skin rashes, UTIs, minor injuries, and more. You are seen by a licensed provider who takes time to evaluate your situation and give you a real answer.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Las Vegas clinic for same day care. Reno patients are seen by appointment. Either way you leave with a clear treatment plan, prescriptions sent to your pharmacy if needed, and a provider who documents everything for continuity of care.

Frequently Asked Questions
1What conditions does your urgent care treat?
Our urgent care handles non emergency conditions including colds, flu, ear infections, sore throats, minor injuries, UTIs, skin rashes, and more. If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, call us and we will tell you right away.
2Do I need an appointment for urgent care?
Walk-ins are welcome at our Las Vegas clinic. Our Reno location sees patients by appointment. Calling ahead gets you scheduled quickly and reduces your wait time.
3How is urgent care different from the emergency room?
Urgent care is for conditions that need attention today but are not life threatening. Emergency rooms are for serious conditions like chest pain, stroke symptoms, or severe trauma. Urgent care is faster, less expensive, and more appropriate for the majority of same day medical needs.
4Can you prescribe medications at urgent care visits?
Yes. Our providers can prescribe medications during your urgent care visit when clinically appropriate. Your prescription is sent directly to your preferred pharmacy.
